  • Description:

    Sales Administration Support

    Principle Accountabilites:

    1. Analyze customer request for proposals and develop and implement a response plan
    2. Work closely with major and national account managers in meeting customer and department goals.
    3. Prepare and manage customer pricing agreements including data entry and organization of records.
    4. Research and prepare Customer Request for Quote proposals.
    5. Work with Account Managers in developing relationships with Distributors and End Users.
    6. Work closely with Product Management to align with company strategies.
    7. Prepare monthly/quarterly sales reports for key accounts including internal data and customer provided POS data.
    8. Analysis of account sales and review results with Account Managers.

Manufacturing Facility - Carbondale, IL

  • Description:

    The position will be a key resource for designing, improving and troubleshooting control technologies of new & existing equipment. This job requires the hands on ability of working with control technologies, including AC/DC motion control, motor drives, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID), operator/machine interface (HMI), systems integration and data acquisition. Work includes an emphasis on programming in a variety of formats but focusing on Allen Bradley control hardware.  Hardware consists of Allen Bradley SLC500, PLC5, and Controllogix platforms.  Knowledge of Panelview and IFIX Intellution v5.5 operator/machine interface (HMIs) is preferred. The position will require ability to specify and layout power distribution and controls for new or modified equipment/processes and obtain procurement and installation costs.   

    Principle Accountabilites:

    1. Modifications and troubleshooting of control technologies on existing equipment.
    2. Works with engineering, maintenance & production to gather information and recommend best creative solution(s) for equipment modifications as continuous improvement projects to reduce labor and waste.
    3. Recommend current equipment updates to reduce obsolescence and improve machine reliability.
    4. Layout design of power distribution and controls for projects, obtain procurement and installation quotes and oversee project installations.
    5. Adherence to safety procedures and housekeeping.
    6.  Maintenance of program files in OEM format and of electrical drawings through AutoCad files.
    7. Identifies new areas for learning and be the site’s subject matter expert for assigned technologies.

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
    • 5 years of relative manufacturing experience with examples of projects.
    • Required high level PLC program development and troubleshooting.
    • Required high level interactive operator/machine interface programming.
    • Ability to understand, troubleshoot with, and create electrical one-line diagrams.

  • Description:

    To be creatively solving production-processing issues and bring value to what needs to happen on the production floor.  Duties will include improving equipment startup issues, standardizing production processes, improving material utilization/ yield and quality as well as reducing scrap and other costs such as changeover time.  

    Principle Accountabilites:

    1. Work closely with Production & Maintenance departments
    2. Execute and implement activities of the Extrusion department as directed by Senior Process Engineer
    3. Take responsibility for training extrusion operators in proper extrusion techniques
    4. Ensure PMs are properly done on extruders, working closely with Maintenance
    5. Ensure extruders are running best quality film and output on a daily basis in all departments
    6. Improve company’s film quality and strength and minimize extrusion downtime
    7. Work with Quality Control to properly sample and test film properties on a timely basis
    8. Conduct Research and Development projects as directed by Senior Process Engineer
    9. Ensure that documents and checklists are followed in extrusion from operator settings to adjustments methods and troubleshooting

  • Description:

    Working closely with  Sales, Finance, Logistics and Operations, the Supply Chain Demand Planner will lead the process of developing and communicating the forecast that drives the Master Schedules, Financial updates, and Strategic Planning. The Supply Chain Demand Planner will drive the inventory and distribution planning process for internal and external supply sources. The Supply Chain Demand Planner will ensure the replenishment plan supports customer service and working capital objectives. In collaboration with Supply Chain, Operations, Global Sourcing and External Vendors, the Demand Planner will identify and implement planning process improvements that support the overall Supply Chain Strategy.

    Principle Accountabilities:

    Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, this position will be responsible for managing the planning process for an assigned group of products and locations.

    •  Drive the Demand Review Process with Sales and Marketing
    •  Prepare accurate monthly baseline statistical forecast.
    •  Stratify customer/product and create planning models.
    •  Execute policies and procedures for stocking programs.
    •  Develop inventory planning categories for similar item-locations.
    •  Confirm planned inventory policy meets customer’s service expectation.
    •  Confirm replenishment planning pyramid is synchronized with demand planning pyramid.
    •  Integrate New Product Development and Introduction into the planning process.

    • Hand off valid supply plans to scheduling team for execution; re-plan as necessary to ensure plans stay valid, and proactively communicate progress toward and changes to plans.
