IPG's economical duct tapes are used for bag sealing in hospitals, medical centers, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers dealing with medical waste.
The swan neck bag sealing method is industry standard for sealing medical and hazardous waste. When a bag is filled to 70-80% capacity, the swan neck can be created by twisting the open end of the bag and doubling over. Hold firmly and wrap tape around to create an effective seal. When done right, there should be a loop at the top. Duct tape or polyethylene (PE) tape should be used instead of staples and metallic wire as they can cause puncturing of the bag contents.
