Porous non-woven polyester backing with a zone coated acrylic adhesive. The tape is free from corrosive substances and withstands impregnating varnishes and lacquers. The porous area without adhesive allows the impregnating fluids to pass through, avoiding air entrapment. The impregnated and cured tape provides a high insulating barrier.
