PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE DETAILS
- Load Handling Components: Inspect and clean all load-supporting parts (turntable, rotary arm, or orbital ring) for debris. Check bearings, rollers, drive assemblies, and reducers. Lubricate grease fittings as required.
- Film Carriage & Upright Assembly: Verify proper adjustment and lubrication of the film carriage and any vertical assemblies.
- Drive Systems: Inspect all drives (chains, belts, or gear systems) for correct tension and lubrication.
- Pre-Stretch Assembly: Examine couplers, motors, and rollers for cuts, holes, or wear. Replace worn components as needed.
- Tension System: Check and adjust tension settings to ensure consistent film application.
- Air System: Inspect for dirt, leaks, and proper pressure levels.
- Heat Seal Assembly (if applicable): Inspect and adjust sealing components for proper operation.
- Film Clamp Assembly: Check alignment, condition, and functionality of the film clamp.
- Idler Roller Assembly: Inspect for burrs, scratches, or damage that could affect film feed.
- Electrical Components: Inspect wiring for cracks, loose connections, and insulation integrity. Clean and check photo eyes for proper orientation.
- Brushes & Commutator (rotary systems only): Inspect for wear and clean as needed.
- Conveying Systems: Lubricate and adjust conveyor components for smooth operation.
- Benchmark Test: Perform before and after PM. Record load size, product ID, total revolutions, film weight, and force-to-load measurements.
- Spare Parts Inventory: Review current stock and recommend replenishment as necessary.
- Photo Eyes: Confirm proper functionality when a package is present and ensure sensors respond correctly to obstructions.
- Safeties: Verify functionality according to manufacturer specifications.
