PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE DETAILS
- Striker Plate & Cutting Blade: Check blades for damage and sharpness. Remove debris and adhesive buildup. Replacestriker plate and cutting blade annually (WAT).
- Rollers: Clean the wetting roller. Check the position of the pinch rollers. Replace rollers annually (WAT).
- Check Heater & Water Pot: Clean as needed. Replace annually (WAT).
- Cutter Blade Assembly: Inspect for wear, clean, tighten loose hardware, inspect spring and replace missing pieces.
- Mandrel Assembly: Disassemble and observe. Check mandrel spring for weakness. Clean mandrel friction pad. Clean mandrel shaft. Remove dust. Check mandrel bearing for wear.
- Wipe-Down: Disassemble front and rear assemblies and remove any adhesive build up.
- Water Bottles: Water bottles and caps are normally maintained by the operator. If defective bottle or cap is found, then replace.
- Moistening Brushes: Weekly brush maintenance is normally done by the operator. If brushes are beyond cleaning and are causing moistening or jamming problems, replace them.
